Our Story
The Chart Guys was formed out of a unique set of circumstances and people converging in the right place at the right time, with the stars aligning just right. Below you can find a brief timeline of our incredible story thus far.
2013
Coming Together
Jason and Dan met online through a mutual interest in learning and technical analysis. Despite being from different parts of the world, they quickly bonded over their shared passion and began to talk frequently. They came together to create online communities on different platforms, such as free chat rooms and forums, where traders and investors could come together to discuss ideas and share information.
2015
The Chart Guys
During this period TCG team expanded to include a core team of individuals who shared Jason and Dan's passion for trading and education. Lori and Adina were among the first to join the team, bringing with them their own unique perspectives and experiences.
At the same time the TCG community continued to grow, it became a hub for traders and investors alike, from beginners to experienced professionals with hundreds and hundreds of people from all walks of life.
2016-2019
Here We Grow
After building a thriving community of traders and investors through their online forums and chat rooms, Jason and Dan realized that their passion for the markets and their love of learning had the potential to make a meaningful impact on other people's lives. They decided to create a company that would carry forward their ethos of respect, collaboration, and a deep appreciation for the value of education.
2020-2023
Building Family
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the TCG community came together as a place for friends to connect and share their love of trading. The team expanded with the addition of Lamont and Joey, bringing their expertise and passion for education. TCG remains committed to its values of respect, collaboration, and a love of learning as it continues to provide technical analysis education and support for traders and investors worldwide.
