Jon's TCG Adventure

I'm Jon O., and my journey is an interesting blend of engineering and trading. Growing up on a Minnesota farm taught me the value of hard work, which led me to a successful career as a Mechanical Engineer and Structural Stress Analyst at Boeing. Recently, I've taken an exciting turn into the world of crypto trading, combining my analytical skills from engineering with my passion for the fast paced world of trading.

My interest in trading started as a curiosity while working as an engineer. I was drawn to the fast-paced and ever-changing crypto market. It was a big leap from the structured world I was used to, but I was excited about this new adventure. The transition required adapting to a different kind of analysis and decision-making, one that's quite different from my day job. I was ready to embrace the challenge and the opportunities it presented, or so I thought.

As I jumped into trading I faced several challenges, particularly in discipline and trading psychology. These were new territories for me, really different from the logical and predictable world of engineering. I learned that successful trading requires not just understanding the market, but also mastering one's emotions and decision-making under pressure. This journey has been about growing and developing new skills, both in analyzing the markets and in self-discipline. Overcoming these challenges has been a key part of my growth as a trader.

Joining the TCG community has been a game changer for me. It's more than just a group of traders; it's a supportive network where I've learned a lot about trading strategies and market analysis. The community has been crucial in helping me navigate the ups and downs of trading. Their support and the shared experiences have made a big difference in my journey, making me feel part of something bigger as I grow as a trader.

My next big goal is to transition from engineering to full-time trading. This change isn't just about a new career path, but about following my passion. The skills and experiences I've gained, both in my engineering work and through trading, have prepared me for this. I'm excited about the future and the opportunity to immerse myself completely in the trading world. This is a dream I'm ready to pursue, thanks to the strong foundation I've built over the years.
