        Frequently Asked Questions

        Will my membership renew on the same day I signed up, or on the 1st of each month?

        Your renewal date will always be on the same day you signed up each month, so you don't have to worry about not getting value for money by signing up mid-month. You will still get your full month's worth of access!

        For example: If you signed up on July 20th, then your next renewal date would be on August 20th.

        The same princliple applies to annual subscriptions, where your next renewal would be on the same date the following year.

        Can I pause my membership?

        Our subscriptions run in fixed intervals and cannot be paused. We offer monthly rolling plans for maximum flexibility, or you can choose to take an annual plan which comes with some additional perks and a cost saving versus the monthly plan.

        What happens if I let my membership expire?
        If you do not renew your membership, access to member features will stop automatically at the end of your last subscription day. Don't worry if this happens by accident, you can simply renew your subscription and everything will still be there when you return.
        Does TCG have cryptocurrency coverage?
        Yes! We are actually one of the largest youtube channels regularly covering cryptocurrency technical analysis.
        What is the learning curve for someone just starting to learn how to trade?
        The learning curve is unique to each individual trader, and will be dependent on how much time you are willing to put into learning the concepts and practicing or gathering experience.
        How often does TCG post market coverage videos?
        We offer private live streams up to three times a day where we cover the market, setups, and discuss live trades. You also have the opportunity to ask for feedback on your trade ideas. On top of that, we do a daily market summary video discussing the days events.
        Does a TCG membership include access to the Swing Report?
        No, the Swing Report is a specialized membership that gives you focused access to Swing Setups and market monitoring, as well as automated email alerts when our identified opportunities hit key levels. Full TCG members are eligible for a ~30% discount on their Swing Report membership.
        Does the membership include access to any trading courses?
        Yes, every membership comes with a copy of Introduction to Technical Analysis. You can purchase our more advanced courses as an add-on to your trading community membership, or separately if you prefer to study in your own time before you join the ChartGuys community.
        What is the best way to get started in trading?

        Taking our free Intro to Technical Analysis course is a great way to get started with trading.

        Can I switch from monthly to an annual plan, and what happens to my remaining time?

        You can upgrade your monthly plan to an annual plan via the user dashboard at any time.

        Don't worry if you still have time left on your current monthly subsciption, our system automatically works out your unused time and issues a pro-rated credit, which will then be immediately used to partially pay for your new annual plan. So you should find that instead of the full annual price you will actually be charged a lesser amount, depending on how much time was left in your previous plan. Your new 12-month subscription period then begins from the moment you upgraded.

        What and when is TCG live?
        TCG live is live market coverage of stocks, crypto, commodities where a TCG team member discusses the technical set ups of each sector and opens up ticker requests soon after. Live market coverage takes place on trading days; the morning stream starts at 09:00 ET, the mid day stream at 12:00 ET and the afternoon stream at 15:15 ET. Please see the livestream schedule for more info.
        How do I request tickers for TCG live?
        The live ticker request thread is posted in the Trading Room at 10am Eastern every Monday to Friday on Slack only.
        Is TCG live recorded to watch after?
        Yes, TCG live is recorded and posted in the video archives on the TCG website.
        Does TCG live offer audio-only versions?
        Yes, TCG live streams on MIXLR as well, allowing for audio-only streaming.
        What is the Pre-Game Show?
        The pregame show is hosted by Lori every M-F at 8:30am Eastern live on The Chart Guys YouTube channel. She discusses and previews a lot of what will be on TCG live.
        Where can I find the daily whiteboard?
        The whiteboard can be found here on the TCG website everyday or in the slack channel labeled #Whiteboard.
        How do I get access to Slack?
        Access to Slack is available to members who have completed the Phase 1 Technical Analysis course and upgraded their membership to include Slack and many other features of TCG.
