Margo's TCG Experience

As a lifelong entrepreneur, I’ve always been fueled by curiosity and a passion for learning. In 2014, I founded one of Portland’s first cannabis dispensaries. By 2017, I was ready to tackle a different frontier: the financial markets. The crypto bull run that year became my gateway into the dynamic world of trading.

Early in my trading journey, I discovered The Chart Guys on YouTube. Dan’s clear, approachable teaching style made technical analysis accessible, even as a beginner. Intrigued, I joined the TCG chat room, where I found a wealth of knowledge and a supportive community.

Mastering price action became the foundation of my trading, but I knew there was more to uncover. Technical analysis relies on time and price as its two axes, and after building a strong foundation in price action, I turned my attention to the study of time.

Another passion of mine is astrology, which led me to explore how planetary cycles might correlate with financial markets. This curiosity drove me to study the works of Gann, Jenkins, Merriman and others.

Through this journey, I connected with the creator of Time Trades, a unique time-based software that became the launch pad for developing my own system of analysis, integrating time and price. This fusion enables me to forecast when market shifts are likely to occur and fine-tune my entries and exits with precision.

What sets The Chart Guys apart is their simple, accessible system and their team’s integrity and transparency. While my trading now integrates advanced tools and esoteric methods, the TCG framework remains the foundation of my success.
